Another montage episode.
Sleepin_Dragon25 October 2023
Sophia convinces Blanche to consider a healthy offer for the house from a wealthy Japanese businessman, the girls take a trip down memory lane, recollecting some of their best moments in the house.

So, it's another one of those episodes cobbled together with bits of other episodes,, they always throw some of these in, I'm not normally a fan of them, but this one is ok.

It's a pity they couldn't have used bits of unaired footage, there are scenes here that they'd previously reused, it felt somewhat lazy to me.

I will give credit to the production team for the clips they chose, they really did pick some of the funniest moments from the show's past, including the all night dancing and Sophia's sister.

I can't in all good faith give this a higher score than a 5, hopefully the next part will be better.

5/10.

"Golden Girls" for dummies.

Warning: Spoilers
These montage shows usually either interrupted a season or ended it, and on the case of the last two episodes of the fourth season, it deals with the possibility of Blanche selling the house. Some situations are from other montage shows (the dance marathon) or original episodes, featuring brother and sister Angelo and Angela who never crossed paths. As for how they all met, well, it seems like we've crossed that path before, and that makes much of the content seem a bit too wittle, too wait, to quote another episode. To make it worse, the clips go on far too long focusing on one particular episode and proves a desperation in getting this episode edited and ready for airing. Not all of the archive footage is actually funny, and the result is disappointing.

We're Outta Here: Part 1 (#4.25)

Warning: Spoilers
The neighborhood kids switch the sale sign and put it on Blanche's house lawn. A guy comes and makes a great offer for the house, more than Blanche ever expected she could get for it. But she is also thinking about the good times the three of them had in the house and they go through memories. At the end the guy who made the offer ends up buying other places.

Another flashback episode. I hate those. I said it before, but it is just lazy and boring.

And this particular episode doesn't even have an interesting storyline. So what if she sells the house, they can continue living together, its not the only house in Miami.

Oh God here we go a flashback episode that is so stupid they all sit at the kitchen table eating at all hours of the night and telling these ridiculous stories like Dorothy say Ma remember when we back in Brooklyn or rose say blanche remember the time we saw Sophia running through the sprinkler in her underwear...type stories.. making poor old Sophia cook at crazy hours of the night..this was a dull episode it wasn't new or good and to sell that house to a Chinese man they only see once in the episode for 10 seconds who wrote this episode Rose nyland..at the end they don't sell the house and it turns into a full house episode were they hug and the credits go up as the audience awwww.
