Warning: Spoilers
Rose's old boyfriend from the past, Buzz who is a musician, who moved long time ago comes to visit her. She goes to meet him and is always all confused because she misses him while she goes out without being with Miles. And Sophia gets tired of Dorothy telling her when to go out and leaves their home to live with an old friend of hers while the other girls really miss her.

The story about Rose's boyfriend is kind of boring, the character is also not very interesting. But it is a bit interesting.

I actually preferred the story about Sophia, and it had many laughs for me.

Warning: Spoilers
It's too bad that veteran actor Eddie Bracken didn't have a better part on his single guest appearance on Golden Girls. He plays an old boyfriend of roses who shows up after 40 years and tries to get her to go to Europe with him, upsetting did apple cart with her current boyfriend Miles. Bracken was a mixed bag on film with a few classics (those written and directed by Preston Sturges) but a good majority of them duds. The setup of the story is much funnier than how it plays out with Rose's story of how he became involved in the Spike Jones band. It's too bad because when I was in the midst of writing this and couldn't remember Jones's name, all I had to do was type in weird band leader, 1940's, and his was the first name who popped up. Sophia has a better story line in support, moving out after Dorothy refuses to allow her to see her friends. The best characters are the maid and the elderly man (apparently over 100 years old) are more interesting than Bracken's story. The next time that I'm going through my DVD and this episodes pops up, I'll go "whoop!" as I hit the fast-forward button and go to the next episode.
