2 Worst Characters

I love the characters in this really good show but TJ & Luke's sister are horrible. I Keep hoping they won't come back..Great cast with the exception of them.

Too stupid!
theoriginalantiblonde29 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I can't believe the same stupidly and excessively neurotic Lorelai in this and the previous episode, could possibly be the same person that raised Rory all by herself while still a teenager, or efficently and successfully started and runs her own business -- an inn managing many other people to boot. I cringe when I hear her talking to or about the dog -- the same when she's wasting so much money and time when dealing with the construction crew working on her house. If she ran her own business the same way, she'd have been bankrupt before she even started. And in general I want to scream while listening to her beating about the bush when talking to Paris who is thoughtlessly abusing her time. Paris is the person who always says what she's thinking and doesn't care about hurting other people's feelings, and she actually respects people who say what they are thinking, so Lorelai dancing around so much about speaking her own truth to Paris is ridiculous.

These last two episodes are not holding up at all with regards to repeated viewing. Though I was probably just as frustrated watching them the first time around many years ago. I can't stand people who patronize other people or even dogs as her character is doing here -- say what you mean, or shut up. It is not interesting, it is not amusing.

unrelatable.

Warning: Spoilers
Luke was with some working men working on lorelei's house to do an enlargement.. without consulting her.. Stup!d the part when Lorelei comes home, see a huge hole in her bedroom and goes angry at Luke's, grab him by the arm and drag him to her house without a word. Not funny and stup!d. Who did it?? Dimwit TJ, the stupidier of the bunch, that has some more air time, once more. Because he is "so funny" he hold the job even tho he ruined lorelei's house. But that's not it!! Hear this: she wants to help him and pay more for him to be there. Fast forwarding!!

Do you see how this tv show remained in the air for so long? Were we stup!d ourselves? It is not my first time watching this thing.

Again, stup!d annoying Liz makes an appearance. Not funny, not charming, clumy, etc.

The situation at the community service change radically when the timid Rory talks so confident with all the innmates/fellows. She also give commands, being the second hand of the one directing the thing, and has no issues with the girl that bully her the first day. This is out of character. I feel the same as to when she approached to Emily snob rich friends.

Paris goes to the Inn to talk to Lorelei given the fact that she told her that she could do that, and when she overstayed enough we see Lorelai traying for Paris to go away by herself, givin her hints and whatnot, instead of telling her "honey, I'm working, see you another time".

She's rude as always and writers try to portray that as something funny "oh look how annoyed is suki because she's returning all the food" or "i'm laughing because all the help is scared of her" instead of put her in her place. Of course, we wouldn't have this easy cheap comedy, but then again, there are writers and producers who know the right people, and good writers that don't know anybody and stay in the shadows.

It is like many people said: these are immature childish people that don't kno how to socially behave. I can understand from a younger person, not her, Lorelai, working (and living) with people for years. Another situation that feels that this tv show is more for teenagers/ pre adolescents.

Too many wrong decisions in the story line
thisisanya14 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Somehow the series lost its appeal at the end of the last season. It's weird because the story line of mother and daughter having a falling out is interesting, but for some reason the series lost its soul in the way they are portraying it.

And I've been noticing story errors as well. For example, Paris said in this episode that it's the first time she'll have consistently spent the night with a man. But she's been with Jamie and Asher before. It makes no sense.

In addition, TJ is an incredibly annoying character. I do not understand why they keep on bringing him back. And saddest of all, they decided to pair the amazing strong-willed Lane with the dumb guy from the band... Seriously? That's insulting to the character. Also she was completely in love with Dave, but we never hear about that relationship again, and suddenly she is dating their common friend. It's all not right!

Hep Alien Returns
ISmellSnow13 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Hep Alien returns from their tour with plenty of cash to boot. Paris and Lorelai have lunches together and it's slowly killing Lorelai inside but she doesn't have the courage to tell Paris to stop coming over. Luke takes care of Paul Anka after he accidentally eats chocolate. Rory is going to be a part of the DAR club.
