Rory has her first kiss ("that's a good aisle!"), Lorelai and Mrs Kim have a great exchange, and of course you gotta love Willy Wonka movie night with Dean!

The One With The First Kiss...

I enjoy this episode. It's funny and sweet. It's not one of my all-time favorite episodes from the series, or even this season, but it is a good episode and I do have a nice time watching it.
In this episode, Rory and Dean kiss for the first time, in Doose's Market. Then Rory runs out and actually steals something that she had in her hands. She was just so surprised and shocked. Everyone hears about it, except for Lorelai and Rory has no idea how to tell her or what she'll say.
First appearance of: Taylor Doose
Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Love this episode so much because it's one of the first episodes with the iconic Gilmore Girls feel. One of the first episodes that shows Luke and Lorelai's relationship on another level, and helps set the tone for their relationship going forward. I believe this is one of the first episodes that starts using the classic Gilmore Girls background audio/music clips. We get a better look at Doose's market. Also, the first episode with Taylor Doose, and we meet him amidst a classic Taylor vs. Luke clash. We see Lorelai and Rory's relationship evolve, with Rory hesitating to tell her Mother about her kiss with Dean. The tone is also set for Dean a bit with his interaction with Lorelai towards the end: "I'm not going anywhere."
Most of the episodes before this had more of a classic 90s tv show feel (which is amazing in its own right), with whispers of the classic Gilmore Girls vibes in the background. This is the first episode that feels completely like a great, classic Gilmore Girls episode.

An absolutely "sweet" favourite
