Warning: Spoilers
Richie has been told by his agent Ralph Filthy that he has managed to secure him an appearance on 'TV-AM' reading the gossip column, however he must arrive at the TV studios at 4:30AM on the button. Furthermore, he must be completely sober. It is not going to be easy, as Eddie constantly tries to coax him into going out for a drink. Richie suggests that to pass the time they play a game of Trivial Pursuits.

The game is a farce. Richie resorts to cheating in order to try and beat Eddie. Eventually losing his temper, Eddie chucks the game board up into the air. Eddie continues to try and convince Richie to go out for a drink and, after a great deal of resistance, Richie eventually relents. Cue stage one of 'Lager Frenzy'! What follows is a series of disasters. Richie and Eddie disgrace themselves in a nightclub by getting horribly drunk and attacking customers.

4:30AM dawns and Richie and Eddie arrive at the television studios, rather the worse for the drink and, whilst being interviewed by Anne Diamond, are accosted by two policemen, who are there to arrest them for their drunken behaviour. The episode closes with Richie and Eddie mooning to the television viewers, prefaced with a caption saying: ''To Be Continued Next Week!''.

The penultimate 'Filthy Rich & Catflap' is blatantly a dig at controversial film star Oliver Reed, who constantly appeared on chat shows such as 'Ask Aspel', 'Wogan' and 'Parkinson' steaming drunk and making an exhibition of himself. With so many other television and film personalities being lampooned here, it seemed hardly surprising that old Ollie was going to be targeted.

It is mostly good stuff. Only the scene in the nightclub where Eddie punches a woman over a table didn't work. The final episode sees the consequences of Richie and Eddie's little stunt.

Funniest moment - fed up of Richie's constant burbling about showbusiness, Eddie grabs a long handled axe from a cupboard and forces it straight into Richie's groin. Ouch!

Second funniest moment - the police arriving at the television studios to arrest Eddie and Richie. ''Eddie, this copper wants a statement!'' says Richie. Eddie's reply: ''Fair enough. All coppers are bastards!''
