Blair used to be studious. I love that Jo helped her study for the LSAT.

Warning: Spoilers
Blair thinks it'll be a breeze to get into Langley Law school using her Warner name and wealth, and therefore doesn't bother studying for the LSAT. Later, the night before the test, when she realizes that won't work she panics. Jo ends up helping her study for it.

I don't know why the writers seemed to write Blair as not bothering with school work when she hit college. All through her time at Eastland she was studious. All the girls were. They showed that. They were always reading textbooks and writing in their notebooks even through all the drama and comedy stories that went on. But later in college, they wrote her sometimes as an "I don't care" student. Not all the time, but quite a few times. So, in that way, it was disappointing here. I mean all the girls experienced growth and layers through the years. Yes, Blair probably thought her wealth would get her anywhere in anything she wanted in life. That's typical Blair! That's part of the comedy of the show. But Blair was never stupid or uninterested in school.

I love that Jo stayed up all night to help Blair study. I love the friendship between these two. It's different than between anyone else on the show. Everyone else is compatible in some way. But Jo and Blair seem so incompatible as friends, yet somehow they buck their differences. I always found that made their friendship more touching than anyone else's on the show. Fun and funny episode, but didn't care for writing Blair as uninterested in studying, but loved all the Jo and Blair scenes. 7/10.
