"He's a fully paid-up member of the Klan McKu Klux!"!
ShadeGrenade26 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Dr.Aziz joins the research unit at St.Swithins. Volunteering to have plastic catheters fitted is Mr.McCorquodale, a thoroughly cantankerous and bigoted Scotsman.

A communications problem develops between Aziz and the St.Swithins gang. When Aziz suddenly leaves, Loftus fears that a race relations issue may be boiling. As it turns out, Dr.Aziz has resigned, not because of intimidation, but because he feels the staff to be incompetent. Mr.McCorquodale experiences peculiar side effects as the result of being given too much of a particular drug - his skin turns black!

Possibly the worst episode of the entire 'Doctor' series. Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie set out to ridicule McCorquodale's racism, but shoot themselves in the foot by making Dr.Aziz into a comic character as well. The scene where Dr.Ferguson ( played by 'Space:1999's' Clifton Jones ) does an eyeballing 'yassuh, boss' impression in front of McCorquodale is horribly unfunny. Its a wonder that this episode has never been mentioned in programmes about political correctness. Jimmy Logan was seen to rather better comic effect that year in 'Carry On Abroad'.

Funniest moment - McCorquodale ranting about the number of black people in the hospital, then discovering the man in the next bed is black too!
