There were three dancing girls in this episode but only two are credited. The third is dressed in a harem costume and stays in the background. From a distance she looks like KLS of Dark Shadows. Anybody know for sure?

Lots Of Fun

This was one of the best episodes of this series. I was pleasantly surprised to see Jackie Joseph, who is one of my all time favorites. I too would also like to know who the third girl was, but it was definitely not Kathryn Leigh Scott.
Rob in jail?! Say it isn't so!

The show begins with Laura visiting jail in order to see Rob. Naturally, Laura wants to know WHY Rob is in jail and naturally, this means a long flashback!
It seems that Laura was out of town and Rob was incredibly bored...so bored he tried calling practically everyone he knew and a few he didn't in order to find someone to go out with that night. Eventually, he learns that an old army buddy is performing at a burlesque club and Rob goes there to see him. But how, then does Rob get arrested for gambling AND shooting at a cop with a cannon?! See the show and find out for yourself.
This is a very enjoyable episode...and a most unique one. While not among the very best for the show, it's a clever and solid show.

The actress playing the part of the harem girl looks very much like Janine Gray who plays the part of Zelinka in the Get Smart pilot -Mr. Big. (1965)
Janine Gray's IMDB bio does not credit her for this Dick Van Dyke Show episode, which would be a real rarity for IMDB - - if the performance was "missed."
The backstage scenes of this episode contain some relatively wild,mad-cap but controlled bedlam - and also some pretty risqué dialogue. Jerry Paris, who regularly plays the Petrie's next door neighbor, dentist Jerry Helper, did very nice work directing this episode.
