When the Amazon Modelling Agency approaches Ms Li to give a free modelling class to select students; with the possibility of one student getting a modelling contract she agrees... in return for money to install bulletproof skylights in the pool! Daria is horrified that something like this should be allowed at school but Quinn sees it as a great opportunity. The class doesn't quite go according to plan as Ms Li is shocked when she walks in on the class and finds the modelling recruiters have got the girls pawing shirtless boys... this is nothing like the shock she receives when school assembly is interrupted by group of mercenary recruiters who believe she had invited them... it isn't hard to guess who really invited them (and the media)!
This isn't a classic episode as the main story isn't as interesting as most; it did have a decent number of laughs though; the ending was pretty hilarious even if it was ridiculous. We also learn why Daria has a room with padded walls which was something I'd wondered about. The modelling recruiters were somewhat cliché but produced some chuckles... I dread to think what one of them was having done to her while she was on the phone to Helen! Overall this episode was funny enough but if you miss it you don't have to worry that you missed a something special.
