Ewing Oil holdings before Jack Ewing: JR-35% Bobby-35% Ms. Ellie-10% Ray-10% Gary-10% After Jack helped the Ewing's keep Ewing Oil from being split between Cliff Barnes and Jaime Ewing, JR and Bobby each gave Jack 5% bringing the holdings to: JR-30% Bobby-30% Ms. Ellie-10% Ray-10% Gary-10% Jack-10%

As per Jock's will. The winner of the contest between Bobby an J.R. would get 51% of Ewing oil and the runner up 19% with 10% each to go to Miss Ellie, Gary and Ray. Bobby won but split the 70% equally with J.R. When they both have 5% each to Jack that left them with 30% not 25%.
