Moulin fly boy
searchanddestroy-119 March 2018
This episode - directed by Guy Lefranc, the vet film maker who began in the early fifties - is from the first season and seems quite different from the rest of the series, so far the episodes from the next seasons which I have already seen. No gangsters, no hoodlums of any kind. First, Moulin has flu and must stay at home to get better. And in the same time, there is a plane crash in which the pilot dies. Once he has recovered from his illness, Moulin investigates, because it appears that the Cessna accident was actually not, because provoked by an act of sabotage. The most interesting is that the lead cop was supposed to take the victim's place aboard the crashed plane. But he could not because of the flu. Moulin was in charge of an investigation in which many important business men are involved. I repeat, no gangsters here, but a rather good piece of work with an exciting climax.
