THAT GUY, WARREN MULLANEY!
tcchelsey8 November 2023
Hal Cooper did a super job here directing the cast, especially the bitter rivalry between Greg and Marsha. Fasten your seatbelts!

It's high school drama 101 (again) and Greg has a bone to pick with a guy named Warren Mullaney (played by Gary Rist), who is cramping his style.

Greg just does not like this guy, and when the news arrives that Marsha is hanging around him --that's the last straw!

He warns her not to date Warren, and what do y'all think happens? It's a mighty battle of the sexes, and just like that, Greg begins dating Marsha's rival, Kathy Lawrence. That's a low blow!

Time for a family talk in this one. In between the feuding, the rest of the gang is building a water booth for dunking for the school carnival. The greatest show on earth! Best of the best has to be the classic scene where Alice gets dunked! And Anne B. Davis really gets wet! Never to be missed.

Gary Rist later became a composer for several films in the 80s, but never forgotten as Warren Mullaney!

From SEASON 3 EPISODE 5 remastered dvd box set.

Far out!
gcanfield-297277 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
We get some pretty strong language from Greg, about his arch enemy, Warren Mullaney. Warren was at the top of Greg's "crumb list." He was also at the bottom of the list, and every crumb in between. Fireworks start when Greg warns Marcia not to go out with Warren. She does anyway, and Greg enlists the aid of Kathy Lawrence, Marcia's nemesis. Fun episode, with great mini-skirts and memorable dialogue. Interestingly, Kathy (same actress) appears in the following episode, as well. Here, she and Marcia seem to be friends.
