Polly and Reg attend a disturbance at a flat, where a resident claims her life is being made hell by the man upstairs, Inspector Monroe has to step in.
A very good episode, it may seem a little dour in parts, and it may not seem dynamic, but this is a well crafted plot.
It shows the importance of self control, even the robotic Inspector Monroe shows he's human, and capable of losing control, too often he's a man of ice, smart move by the writer.
A Policeman's lot is not a happy one! Definitely one which makes you feel a little wound up, as it's full of tension and angst.
Pearce Quigley is excellent as Brian Wilby, the character is very sincere, I always remember him well for Cutting it.
Enjoyed this, 8/10.
