• [Brandon enters Valerie's hotel room after being released from jail and sits beside her bed while she is asleep. There is a large plastic bag of marijuana on the nightstand] 

  Valerie Malone : Val? Hey, Valerie! Get up!

  Valerie Malone : [groggy]  Huh? Brandon? What time it is?

  Brandon Walsh : A little after ten.

  Valerie Malone : At night? Then how is it...

  Brandon Walsh : It's morning.

  Valerie Malone : The morning? Brandon, where have you been? I waited and waited for you, so I started celebrating early.

  Brandon Walsh : I was in jail. I was on my way to buy some beer and condoms when I was randomly pulled over on a routine stop. While I was searching for your car's registration and insurance card to present to the police officer, a joint that you had hidden under the driver's side visor rolled out and I got hauled off to jail for possession of a controlled substance. I was handcuffed and thrown in the back seat of the police car while your car was towed away.

  Valerie Malone : My car? What happened to my car?

  Brandon Walsh : [angry and in disbelief]  Your car's fine. It didn't spend all night in a holding cell!

  [Brandon angrily grabs the bag of marijuana off the nightstand and walks to the bathroom with it] 

  Valerie Malone : Brandon? Hey, where are you going with my stash? Brandon!

  [Valerie gets out of bed and runs to the bathroom as the toilet is heard being flushed and Brandon exits the bathroom with the plastic bag that is now empty] 

  Valerie Malone : Brandon! What the hell is your problem? Why did you do that? I paid over a grand for that stuff!

  Brandon Walsh : You're lucky this wasn't in your car when they searched it! With this large amount, you'd be on your way to jail with me! Plus, do you have any idea what would have happened to me if I had tested positive for use? Do you?
