Ed Peck returns as trigger happy officer Frank Slater
kevinolzak25 May 2014
"The Harris Incident" is a serious episode, in which Harris is in the process of arresting a felon when he gets interrupted by a pair of trigger happy patrolmen mistaking him for a holdup man. Ed Peck makes his second and last appearance as the older officer, Frank Slater (an old friend of Fish's last seen in "Hash"), who is unable to dodge the fact that his actions were, sadly, racially motivated. Harris suspects that he's got to learn how to play the game according to the rules set down by 'The Man,' leaving Wojo to put everything in its proper perspective, that whatever happens on the outside, Harris can always depend on his comrades at the 12th Precinct. Meanwhile, Wojo has picked up a professional derelict (Michael Lombard, first of four) who turns out to be a former stockbroker, his wife (Marilyn Chris) unaware of his current circumstances. Yemana's absence is explained as his being in court for a couple of days.
