Ragtime Billy Peaches

While Baretta and his cockatoo are doing trips for a boys club.

Some kids find blood leaking from a car. It is a body of a dead woman. Her husband is a top lawyer with political ambitions and someone who is a close friend of Lt Shiller'

The dead woman was much younger than her husband and she had little by way of a backstory. Bareta needs to find out why she was targeted.

Baretta goes to LA to find out more and discovers that she used to be a hooker.

This is an involving mystery with identity theft at the heart of it.

Robert Blake puts in another athletic performance and dons his disguises again.

Meg Foster guest stars as a woman who knew the deceased and has a flirtatious relationship with Baretta.

Flat and boring
searchanddestroy-119 January 2016
A woman is found killed and Baretta searches for the truth. The diseased was supposed to be a hooker and our lead tries to find out what where the real motivations to get rid of her. His investigation will bring him in the jet society as well as among the gypsies ; I mean one gypsy girl played by the superb and gorgeous Meg - terrific eyes - Foster. This is a tongue in cheek story here, where the seventies atmosphere and score helps the viewer to get stuck to it. I have nothing more to say. So, to summarize, if you crave for Meg Foster, and her eyes of course, so don't miss it. Otherwise, don't expect any surprise in this lousy forgettable cool detective yarn. Oh yes, Robert Blake was a real good athlete and stuntman too, his own stuntman. One must recognize that. Directed by Bernie Kowalski.
