Emmett has a wealthy brother-in-law who is an insurance man. He holds his success over Emmett every time he visits. This time he offers him a job as a salesman, then puts constant pressure on the handyman. To handle the kinds of pressure one can exert on oneself. Sales people are certainly a unique breed and it's sad to watch someone who doesn't have those chops. When money is involved, sometimes it can hurt. Decent enough episode.

Some very interesting storylines. Emmett a decent man appears henpecked when we see his home life. Bland wife Martha (Mary Lansing) playing her 11th TAGS character. ML drags the show down other than appearing in small doses. Ben (Dub Taylor) nails the fast talking cocky hard-sell salesman role. Terrific tension between Ben & Emmett. Seems everybody dislikes Ben but adoring sister Martha. Wonder how Emmett pays the household bills owning a nickel & dime fix-It shop. Sappy ending Emmett caught returning to his true love. Don't Howard & Goober ever have any dates? Great epilogue with Goober as Ben's puppet salesman.
