Bud and Lou would be proud.

This story line reminds me of Abbott and Costello where fast talking "logic" starts to make sense.

"Money dont mean nothing to me!"

Warning: Spoilers
There is a counterfeit $20 bill that was passed from Archie to George for the dry cleaning. The drying cost was $2.00. Archie, received $18.00 in good currency. Now, between time an argument ensues amongst Louise and Edith, and George and Archie. So, Louise and Edith make up and come up with a plan to get the husbands to make up. Skip to all the players in the room and the currency they had. Gloria, Mike, Louise, Edith and of course Archie. George, gives Archie two $10.00 bills($20.00 in total). Edith convinces Archie to share the funds with George and he does by giving him $10.00. Mike, jumps in and tells Archie he is way more ahead than the $10.00 Archie is holding. Mike states, that Archie is up by $40.00( the counterfeit $20 + real $18.00 + $2.00 for the cleaning.($40.00) but Archie says, how am I up $40.00 when I just gave George $10.00, so Mike says ok so you are up $30.00, but the point is Archie still owes George $8.00 why, dont you give George the other $8.00? bc you will still be ahead $22.00($30-$8) [Now, keep in mind No one has change as far $1.00 bills.] Archie, gives the one $10.00 he has left to George, who cannot give Archie $2. in change bc George does not have any change. So now George owes Archie $2. However, George does not owe anything back to Archie. That $2.00 would be for the cleaning. So, when George brought back the two $10.00 Bill's to give to Archie for finding it in his coat, Archie should have just given it back to George to suare everything up...but ofcourse the other characters were added to deflect us from that...awesome episode!

Zany money gag
vitoscotti17 January 2022
Archie & Mr J tangling are some of comedy's greatest moments. Sherman Hensley is so funny. Whatever situation he's in it's hilarious. The previous uncle was good. But Mr J was so good he and family got their own show. The money gag is timeless. I like how Archie calls Gloria "little girl" when putting in her 2¢. Of course, all suggestions leave Archie out now $35. Funny seeing Edith get mad defending knucklehead Archie.

Archie, George and twenty dollars
Jimmy_the_Gent48 December 2017
George accuses Archie of giving him a counterfeit 20 dollar bill.

This episode starts off funny with some good back and forth insults from Archie and George. Edith and Louise also have a fight though they make up quickly. When it looks like the problem is solved Mike butts in and makes things worse as he passes around Archie's money to nearly everyone. The sequence is amusing though it goes on too long. Archie's furious reaction at the end is the funniest moment.
