We get a rare look at Lurch's room. It is fun seeing Lurch dressed up like a gentleman to take a walk. I love John Astin in this episode (and every episode) . Jumping on the trampoline in the living room and having a sword fight with Lurch, John Astin looks right at home as Gomez. I can almost imagine him doing it in real life at his own house. I wish the Addams Family had gone more than two years.

Morticia and Gomez think Lurch is overworked, so Gomez and Fester build a robot named Smiley to help with the work.
One of the best Lurch episodes. Sci-fi buffs will notice that Smiley is actually Robby the Robot from "Forbidden Planet", Many funny scenes as Smiley takes over tasks like scratching Gomez's back and waxing Fester's head.
