Story takes a while to get going. Poor Marie Windsor plays a drunken mother. Shootout at a Hollywood studio adds needed suspense.

And Yet Another Provocative Dispatch From New Recruit, Betty Edwards
StrictlyConfidential25 September 2020
You know what?.... I just knew that when new radio dispatch person, Betty Edwards was finally introduced (visually) to the TV audience that she would be a blonde. Yep. I just knew it.
But - Even long before Betty's face was actually shown on screen - I was already getting mighty tired of hearing her ecstatically enunciated dispatches (which, on the contrary, sure woke up Officer Pete Malloy and got him all hot and randy for more of her).
Anyway - Since I found Betty's laughably provocative voice to be totally forced and overplayed, that, in turn, left me with no other choice but to give this episode of "Adam-12" just a 4-star rating.
