Did You Know?

An undeveloped plot twist would have revealed that Sal 'Blowfish' Banducci (Jump Street's janitor) was in fact an undercover agent of Internal Affairs. Later shows had scenes which hinted at this, in particular one line in which Blowfish is changing a light-bulb and is recognized by another officer as an IA agent. In yet another scene, when Blowfish is at dinner with the Jump Street officers, he becomes nervous when asked about his background and says coldly that he's just a janitor. See more »

One Of The Better Episodes
4 April 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Blindsided is the eight episode of the first season of 21 Jump Street. The premise of the episode is interesting as we get to see Officers Hanson and Penhall go undercover as the drug dealing brothers known as the McQuaids. They also get to discover a girl who is being abused by his father. She asked Officer Penhall to kill him and the father apparently happens to be a high ranking police officer.

This is definitely one of the better episodes of the TV series if not the best during the first season.Johnny Depp shines in it as Officer Hanson once again and the writing is worth noting considering that it has a multiple plots but it boasts itself of a substantial depth especially with themes about parental abuse as well as drug addiction.
