Sex & Nudity
-
- Some mild sex references. A young man and young woman have to spend the night in a room together (their relationship is platonic but it is implied they are attracted to each other). He gets undressed to go to bed and we see him unclothed, but this is limited to the top half of his body. The young woman lowers herself to his waist while he is standing, and for a very brief moment it could be interpreted that she was about to perform oral sex on him. But instead she does up the button on his nightshirt.
Violence & Gore
-
- Some moderate violence. Dead bodies are discovered with some focus on bloody detail. However, the film does not dwell on injury detail and any actual violence shown onscreen is brief and not very detailed.
Profanity
-
- Infrequent mild language.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Alcohol is consumed. Smoking is depicted, but this is appropriate to the period setting of the film. The movie as a whole does not condone or encourage smoking.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- There is a level of threat throughout the film, but this is inkeeping with the murder mystery theme and there is no significant focus on horror of menace.
