This film is so dumb....and funny!
planktonrules23 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Well, I certainly must say that this ghost story caught me by surprise. While I am not much of a ghost movie fan, I do love shorts and so I decided to give this one a try. In hindsight I am really glad I did, as the film was exceptionally dumb--and I mean that in a good way. With its tremendously silly story, it left me giggling.

An incredibly nerdy guy goes to an inn because he's heard stories that a certain room is haunted by a naked ghost! In fact, he paid extra to have this room. So imagine his surprise when the ghost actually shows up....and is a fat, hairy naked man! Then, in a silly twist, the living guy slips and dies and now there are two very unattractive and not particularly ghost-like ghosts stuck in the room because of "unfinished business"!

This film is very short but it manages to work because it has a great sense of humor and never takes itself seriously. Well worth seeing--particularly if you are in need of a chuckle. Well made, well acted and I hope to see more films from these folks in the future.

Beware of the fat and hairy ghost guy in the shower!
Woodyanders1 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Nerdy stringbean Steven (scrawny Rob Steiner) rents a room at an inn that's rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a beautiful naked woman. While taking a shower Steven discovers much to his surprise and disappointment that the ghost is actually a fat, hairy, and not especially attractive guy named George (tubby wonder Stephen Sonneveld). Steven trips in the shower and winds up becoming a ghost as well. One year later the room is now haunted by the homely nude ghosts of Steven and George, who are seen in the bathtub together. Writer/director Joseph Murray whips up a wickedly funny little horror comedy short that's rife with risqué homo-erotic subtext. This film is given an extra lift by the excellent acting by the two super male leads (Sonneveld in particular is an absolute riot). Moreover, the cinematography is quite polished while the score is appropriately moody and spooky. Sure, the humor is pretty silly and lowbrow, but it tickles the funny bone just the same. A complete hoot.
