After Shimit Amin who made Ab Tak Chappan for Ram Gopal Varma and then migrated to Yash Raj Films to make the successful Chak De and the dud Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year, another Ram Gopal Varma protege Atul Sabharwal is all set to make a big-budgeted film for Yash Raj. The film titled Aurangzeb will feature Arjun Kapoor in a double role. However, the really interesting part of the project is the debutant director's slanted association with Arjun Kapoor. Sabharwal wrote Arjun's uncle Anil Kapoor's murder thriller My Wife's Murder which Ram Gopal Varma produced. Says a source, "That's when Arjun, then a child, vaguely got to know Atul. To be now directed by him just shows that its small world .And the world of movies is even smaller. Atul wanted to direct his own film for Ram Gopal Varma. But Ramu somehow never got around giving him a chance.

LONDON -- The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) said Monday that anti-piracy investigators had busted the biggest counterfeit CD and DVD factory yet found in Europe. The trade body said that raids on the weekend of Sept. 3 shut down an operation in west London capable of producing 50,000 illegal copies a day. Police seized illegal discs of Hollywood hits War of the Worlds and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Bollywood films Salaam Namaste, Mere Jeeran Saathti, and My Wife's Murder, with a street value of £1 million ($1.8 million). BPI said the factory's equipment included 24 DVD multi-burners, three photocopies, three computers, a labeling machine and thousands of blank CDs and DVDs. Three suspects were arrested and were to appear in court Monday. The raid was part of an industry crackdown on piracy of Bollywood films and Asian music, which the BPI said has soared in recent years.
