Well, the title informs the viewer pretty much right away what to expect. Wives who gather together for lesbian threesomes(..never a problem with yours truly)decide to earn some extra cash and supplement their sexual cravings since the husbands are away with better things to do. Shyla Stylez(..as Amanda)is reluctant, at first, to submit to Brittany Andrews'(..known here as "the madam") brothel, out of loyalty to her husband. After her sexual experience with a guy who satisfies her exponentially, Amanda isn't too concerned with the whole marriage situation. Taimie Hannum(..as Taimie)and Ashley Long(..as Ashley)are immediately interested in f-cking for lots of moohlah, and enter their sessions with male clientèle completely free and devoid of the complicated repercussions such actions might have in regards to their current marriages.

Michael Whiteacre uses techno beats and dark lighting when shooting the sexual situations, each girl getting ten or so minutes to bump and grind with some john they don't even know. Whiteacre injects clips of various places in Hollywood to establish where the film is set. Stylez and Hannum are curvy gals with fake tits, but, truth be told, I love their figures and can excuse surgical procedures they underwent. Hannum has always been skilled at perfecting a really seductive slut, and always conveys the relish such immoral behavior brings to her characters. Long, with a British accent, is the best worker of the three, really hitting the high notes, her body active and expressive whether with a man or woman. I really thought her lesbian sequence, the last sex scene of the movie, produces sparks. Stylez, who I think would look better without so much make-up, particularly lip stick, does have a lengthly scene that builds momentum, but I prefer Long's enthusiasm and energy. At any rate, the movie is what it is and I liked the girls in it, and the two lesbian sequences certainly aroused me. A major disappointment was not getting to enjoy Wynorski regular, Julie K Smith, work a scene.

If you want little in the way of a story and crave the standard mix of boobs and simulated sex scenes, 'Call Girl Wives' will satisfy. However I was expecting more from director Michael Whiteacre given the positive reviews. A cheap & quick flick with some bad acting made tolerable by decent nudity is the prescription here.

When their husbands go on a hunting trip, Amanda (Amanda Auclair aka Shyla Stylez), Taimie (Taimie Hannum) and Ashley (Ashley Long) decide to have a girls night. They have a threeway, but aren't fully satisfied. Realizing what's missing from their lives is "dick, dick, dick" soon they're banging dudes for money under a madam (Brittany Andrews) who runs a brothel.

There's no ambiguity here - bare breasts are shown in the opening credits - reminding you why you came in the first place. Julie K Smith puts in a non-nude appearance, Kelle Marie shows up for a girl/girl. There's your dream / shower / getting dressed sequences. Busty blonde Shyla has a bathtub segment while each lady has her own boy/girl scene. Shockingly Brittany Andrews never gets naked. That's pretty much 'Call Girl Wives' in a nutshell.

I saw this on cable the other day. Three wives decide to become call girls. They are the "Call Girl Wives". They're a little shy at first but then they start to loosen up when they realize all the money they can make. That pretty much says it all about this one. It's not complicated.

"Call Girl Wives" is great. A triumph for late night skin flicks. I don't know how anyone cannot like this movie. Any flick that starts off with an all girl three-way gets my vote. The scene starts off with the ladies showering and then getting all dressed up. You think they are going out on the town. Then they undress and roll around with each other next to the fireplace. This scene was brilliant. Totally hot. There are plenty of other good sex scenes in this one as well. "Call Girl Wives" is a must see. The wives are hot and horny. You can't ask for more than that.

Very enjoyable movie

This movie has one of the best all girl scenes in it we have ever viewed. Tastfully done, and ranks somewhere between soft porn and full. This is my wife's favorite "get turned on scene" when the three stars go at it. Hope you enjoy too. The film is about 3 girls; Amanda, Taimie and Ashley (Amanda Auclair, Taimie Hanumm, and Ashley Long), whom are bored with merely being housewives, decide to become call girls. The reason they named it Call Girl Wives. The almost plot takes backseat to the soft-core scenes. The girl scenes are amongst the best scenes I've seen on late-night TV. This is filmed and lighted very well and has outstandingly beautiful women in it. Director Micheal Whiteacre has done himself well and should receive awards.

It was satisfying in its own special way.....I give it an A-

Ah yes..."Call Girl Wives." There was much to like about this movie--the laughable dialogue, the amount of sex involved, the ending letters the wives write their husbands....it was all here, the makings of a great softcore comedy, and I was entertained by the whole thing.

We begin with three housewives--Amanda (Amanda Auclair), Taimie (Taimie Hannum--I'm glad she's still around) and Ashley (Ashley Long). Their husbands go out on a hunting trip and leave them all alone. You sort of know where this is going before it actually happens, but play along. The girls are tired of their boring, ordinary lives and decide to do something about it. They do what any desperate housewife would do--become a high-priced call girl.

Taimie mentions a friend of hers who works as a "love broker." They go to see her, and to my surprise, the Madam is played by Brittany Andrews--yes, THAT Brittany Andrews. The Madam entices the girls with an offer of thousands of dollars and flowery language--most of it quite hilarious--followed by a "informational video" featuring Ashley Blue getting it on with a client. Within a few minutes, the three girls are convinced and start work immediately.

This is where the plot takes a back seat and the sex comes into focus. You can't miss it, because it's one sex scene after another. The three-way featuring the three wives was okay, but Ashley Long's performance later on was the scene of the film. Each "call girl wife" gets a one-on-one scene with a guy, and another girl-girl sequence with Ashley Long ends things. Ashley Long definitely was the scene stealer in this one--and her lovely British accent was a plus, of course.

In another funny scene, Taimie walks in on Julie the Understudy (Julie K. Smith) getting ready for work. When Julie realizes her services won't be needed, she figures she'll just take a dip in the pool. This scene was pure comedy, and was very close to something usually seen in a Jim Wynorski film.

The ending, consisting of each wife reading a "I'm leaving you" note to her husband, capped off the film in a humorous way. The best one, in my opinion, belonged to Ashley. She ends her note like this: "...In some circles, I'd be called a whore. But, I went to Vassar. How many whores go to Vassar? None, that's how many! Love, Ashley."

I consider this film tapeworthy. The comedy scenes just capped things off for me.

Women: A (Taimie, Amanda, and Ashley are the principals here, and they don't disappoint. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Ashley Long in some of these films. Then there's the cameos by Brittany Andrews and Ashley Blue. If Brittany Andrews is involved, I really can't go below an A.)

Sex: B+ (Ashley Long's boy-girl scene takes the cake, and the rest were pretty good, too. I would have liked to see Taimie's scene last a little longer.)

Story: B (Not much of a story here after the girls become call girls, but it does what it's supposed to do, and that's have some semblance of a logical ending. At just under 78 minutes, it was way too short to develop any sort of a storyline anyway. The blooper reel at the end was a nice touch.)

Overall: A- (The "fudge factor" allows this film to hang on in the A range, but just barely. I was impressed by Ashley Long's performance, and that was more than enough to warrant some extra credit points. Brittany Andrews in a softcore flick sort of did it, too.)

one of the best movies of it's kind that you'll ever see

This soft-core romp is without a doubt one of the best movies of its kind that I've seen in a good long while. The film's about 3 girlfriends (who have a lesbian thing going on between them, that is Hot with a capital H), Amanda, Taimie and Ashley (Amanda Auclair, Taimie Hanumm, and Ashley Long), whom bored with merely being housewives, decide to become call girls (hence the name of the movie). But really the plot, be what it may, takes backseat to the soft-core shenanigans. And this is this glorious films BOth bread AND butter. They were among the best scenes I've seen on late-night Cinemax in ages. Expertly filmed and lighted with VERY beautiful women. I had to stop the movie multiple times to expel my sheer pleasure with seeing this film. Kudos to all involved, not the least being Director Micheal Whiteacre, MAD props to you, my friend. And to top it all off the movie is actually pretty damn funny at times. So stop reading this and see this movie....NOW!!!

The 10 Rating Earned By The Hot & Erotic 3 Woman Lesbian Scene Alone

Have read that fans of this late night soft-core gem have been having a real tough time finding it on DVD. Unfortunately CGW was never released on DVD in the U.S., so count myself as lucky, that I made a VHS copy off Cinemax, using the highest quality recording speed. Then, later transferred the VHS recording to DVD. OK, I'll be honest, I only transferred the tasty 3 woman lesbian scene to DVD. It's simply, IMHO, the hottest, most erotic scene, not only in Call Girl Wives, but in any late night soft-core porn that's been shown on cable.

With the restrictions that soft-core must operate under, it is extremely difficult to shoot a scene that succeeds at both actually being erotic and also at avoiding the look of phony, simulated sex. I think this classic all woman 3-way scene goes a long way toward reaching both goals. For one thing, the plentiful amount of French kissing between these sexy ladies is obviously not simulated. Most red-blooded American males, as well as many actual lesbians, no doubt, will really enjoy seeing all the shots of the ladies licking each others tongues. Also, quite erotic, is the sight of the buxom Shyla Stylez seated between the other 2 ladies, as they both gently caress her naked breasts. Yes, this movie's director, and also the ladies of course, really deserve kudos for pulling off this classic example of erotica. And one other element really contributed to making this scene work, and that's the music that accompanies the on screen action. The music is never over powering or blaring, but for once in a sex scene, it actually complements the scene. In conclusion, I really agree with a critic who said that the 3-way lesbian scene in Call Girl Wives should be shown at the "soft-core college" to demonstrate how erotic scenes should be done. (If there actually was such a place.)
