Trivia | A second season of Aquaman was in development but became delayed when a new opportunity emerged for Filmation. With the cancellation of the Batman television series, Filmation acquired the rights to adapt it for animation. As a consequence, Aquaman and a new series in Metamorpho were delayed so that Batman would be ready for the coming fall season.
