Green Inc Film & Television has gone into production with 'Four Live' and 'The Daily Show' – shows that will broadcast in what was the slot of the group's previous lifestyle magazine show 'The Afternoon Show' on RTÉ. The company is also in production with 'The Many faces of…Richard Wilson' for the BBC. 'Four Live', with series producer Kathy Littler (Just for Laughs and You're not the man I married – both BBC) is joined by producers by Catriona Rogan and Tamara Nolan who both previously worked on 'The Afternoon Show'. 'Four Live', presented by Maura Derrane, will transmit on RTÉ One weekdays at 4pm. The lifestyle show which will deliver tips, stories and advice on all lifestyle matters such as parenting, cooking, health, fashion etc.

Dublin's Helix theatre will play host to the Irish version of hit reality dating show 'Take Me Out' on TV3 this autumn. The fast-moving show sees 30 women hoping to find their match. The Series Producer on board is Billy McGrath (Class Act, The Model Agent) and the series is to be directed by Simon Staffurth (Take Me Out, An Audience with Elton John). The producers for Sideline include Tony Brady (The Afternoon Show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire) and Gary Flood (The Restaurant and Operation Transformation). The group's crew will further include production manager Dee Keane (You're a Star), researcher Kate Olohoan (Desperate Houses), Vt producer Lisa McCaghy (TV Now Awards), location director / editor Mick Brennan (Cleamhnas Tg4) and assistant producer Martin Crehan (St Patrick's Fest CBS USA, Ireland's Biggest Hits) ...

RTÉ has announced Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh will not return to present their live daytime show 'The Afternoon Show'. Citing medical reasons for her departure, the presenter has been advised to return to work on a phased basis only, in order to facilitate a complete recovery from the abdominal surgery she underwent last month. Ní Chofaigh will return to the screen in November with the extended run of a new series of 'The All Ireland Talent Show'. She commented "It's with regret that I'm not returning to 'The Afternoon Show'. I was there for five seasons and it was a great show to work on, but my medical advice is very clear – a two-hour live show every day is just too much."...
