The first eliminated contestant, Fernanda, provides an update of her weight loss journey at home. The teams, all with the same amount of resources, learn that their workout this week will be determined by an auction of gym equipment, each piece which is available to the entire team if they have the highest bid. Strategy is to make other teams pay as a high a price as possible for the equipment that they want, while paying as little as possible for what one's own team wants. It is the penultimate item on the auction block that has the potential to be good or bad: a mystery box. Bob takes aside Matt to talk about postponing his marriage plans to be on the ranch, which may either help or hinder him in his weight loss. If he is sent home early, the experience may scar him in that journey. As such, Matt becomes Bob's project for the week. Dolvett's target is Tanya, who he feels has not lived up to her potential. He tries to discover why. All the trainers feel the contestants as a collective just aren't mentally invested in their journey this week, and so decide to provide them with a gift to get them over what is hopefully a short term hump. This week's weigh-in again has a red line, meaning that someone will automatically be sent home unless a trainer save is used.

Tanya feels extra pressure on herself this week as Dolvett used his one and only trainer save of the season at the last weigh-in to keep her on the ranch. The fourteen remaining contestants compete in their first temptation challenge - a Halloween themed one - the winning team which will receive immunity at the next weigh-in as long as none on that team gains any weight. In a patch of one hundred pumpkins, the contestants, one by one by team, have to choose a pumpkin, one which contains the immunity ticket. The other ninety-nine pumpkins contain either a cash prize which the individual keeps, or a Halloween treat. If the contestant chooses not to eat the treat, their team sits out the remainder of the challenge. One team does receive that immunity, which places pressure on the two losing teams. This week, Dolvett's red team seems as a collective to be falling victim to light-headedness during their workouts. Jillian worries about two of her team members, namely Jay whose hip is not feeling good, and Tumi, who doesn't seem to have any aggression in the way she works out. And Bob focuses his attention on motivating Holley, which he hopes will spark his other team members as well. All the contestants receive gifts, which may help them out emotionally. At the weigh-in, the team(s) without saves or immunity worry about the red line.

Ruben's elimination at the latest weigh-in, he who was seen as the heart of the ranch, brings the reality of the competition side of the equation into focus for the remaining contestants, and not just his red team mates. Dolvett brings his team to work out with the Beat Cancer Bootcamp. This experience motivates the team, but has the greatest emotional impact on David, whose first wife died from cancer. Jillian takes her team's workout into the pool, where she helps Craig overcome his fear of water, that fear the result of not knowing how to swim. Bob knows that the target is squarely on the blue team's back, as the only team that still has its full complement of members and that still has its trainer save. The week's reward challenge goes into the kitchen, where Sam Kass, White House Senior Policy of Nutrition, and last year's child ambassadors judge a food competition, the winning team, who has prepared the combination healthiest and tastiest dish, will win a year's supply of produce. This challenge hits home especially for Jennifer, whose lifestyle has led both to her and her daughter being overweight. Just before the weigh-in, Alison drops a bombshell of news which affects all the competitors regarding this weigh-in.

Bob using his only trainer save on Matt at the last weigh-in puts all the teams on equal footing with no trainer saves left. Bob's decision weighs heavily on Matt, who has a chat with Tanya, who was also a previous "savee". Being Thanksgiving week, the reward challenge hits home for the contestants more ways than one. The challenge has the teams filling trucks with boxes of Thanksgiving food that will be delivered to the victims of the Moore, Oklahoma tornado. The team who fills their truck first of forty boxes average per team member will have family/friends flown in to spend Thanksgiving on the ranch. The trainer of the winning team sees this win as a double edge sword, where visiting family can act as a distraction. One other person on the ranch nonetheless keeps to his own Thanksgiving ritual. Bobby speaks to Bob about a secret he has been keeping from his family, that secret to which Bob can give an insider's perspective. At the weigh-in, one person definitely will be sent home since there are no trainer saves left. After the results of the emotional weigh-in, Alison drops what sounds like a bombshell of news on the remaining contestants.

The remaining contestants learn that Holley, who lost the latest weigh-in, is not the only person going home this week, as one other will be spending the week at home. That person will bring along his/her trainer, and his/her weight will be the only one counting for his/her team at the next weigh-in. The person chosen to head home is determined by luck, based on the spin of a wheel. That trainer believes this situation is bad for all on their team as it takes away from the workout of the team members still on the ranch, and that the time at home for the chosen one will be too much of a distraction. After all is said and done, that trainer has a change of heart as to the initial belief that the cons would outweigh the pros of that person being sent home. One trainer ends up taking over the reigns for that missing trainer's team members still on the ranch. The week's workouts on the ranch bring two contestants back to activities that they participated in in high school, that return to the past which is a scary prospect for one. Eliminated contestant Holley talks about her new Olympic-related goals. And the weigh-in highlights some quiet animosity between members of a certain team regarding effort versus resulting reward.

Ruben, the most recently eliminated contestant, is shown in his post-ranch life. The remaining contestants meet at a diner, where Alison holds a pop quiz on lifestyle and obesity. The quiz topic and the locale are appropriate as the team that loses the quiz will return to work for the week - something that most of the contestants are dreading as "no time" has always been an excuse for not having a healthy lifestyle - not at their regular jobs, but rather at this diner, where bad food temptations will be immense. The losing team decides to bring some of their work home with them to tempt the other teams. Bob feels that Hap's low weight loss numbers are attributed to his eating habits and thus he decides to control that part of Hap's on-ranch life. Bob also feels that Bobby is not yet in a good head space where he is confident about his actions or therefore his future. Via video, Dolvett wants to train Jennifer's nine year old daughter, Taylor, who has picked up many of her mother's bad lifestyle habits which has led to her being seventy pounds overweight. And Alison highlights the Partnership America program for the nation to drink more water, which is supported by the three child ambassadors, and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The 10 remaining contestants reach a milestone this week, as the competition goes from teams to singles. Wearing their new individual color shirts, the players meet host Alison Sweeney for a night-time "ring of fire" endurance challenge that involves holding a percentage of their individual weights. Alison also shares exciting news about an upcoming event that will be a "Biggest Loser" first for contestants, and sobering news that this week's weigh-in will end with a double elimination. Now that the teams have been disbanded, trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett are eager to switch it up and work out with new contestants this week. One player struggles with self-sabotaging negative thoughts, and two contestants make it to the coveted "One-derland" at weigh-in and say goodbye to weighing over 200 pounds. Then it's time for the dreaded red line, which will determine which two players will be going home.

Hap and Matt, the two contestants who fell below the red line at the last weigh-in, learn that one of them may not be going home this week. They and all the other eliminated contestants to date participate in another weigh-in, the one with the largest percentage of weight loss since day one of being on the ranch who will return to ranch as a contestant. The returning contestant and the others remaining on the ranch also learn that this week's weigh-in will be the first of the season with a yellow line, the two that fall under it who will be up for elimination, the person eliminated based on a vote of the others. A retrospective of each of the remaining contestants is shown, most specifically how their weight loss to date will affect their life whenever they go home. The week's reward challenge consists of an uphill race where the winning contestant will be the first to carry ten kettle bells up the hill, with one of the many buried kettle bells - the gold one - worth five. The winner receives a $25,000 home gym system, with the last place contestant receiving a one pound disadvantage at the next weigh-in. Season 8 contestant Abby Rike returns to the ranch to provide words of motivation. And Dolvett takes the contestants to Irwindale Speedway to work out with NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. Following the weigh-in, Alison tells the remaining contestants what is in store for them next week.

The contestants are off on the adventure of a lifetime, headed to Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, where they'll train like champions and get to meet some incredible Olympic athletes. Dolvett introduces the players to Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno, who talks about his own "Second Chance" - this season's theme - and works out with the contestants inside the spectacular Olympic Oval arena. Then the contestants get to compete in the sport of curling, after an introduction to USA Curling team members Jessica Schultz, Debbie McCormick and Anne Swisshelm. The fun continues at the base of the bobsled track, where words of motivation from USA Bobsled Team members Lolo Jones and Jazmine Fenlator get the remaining seven players fired up about the fast-paced sport. But for this week's challenge, they won't be racing down the track. Instead, they will be running more than a mile up the bobsled track, a challenge made far more difficult by the elevation of over 7,000 feet. Also this week, Bob designs an Olympic-inspired workout that puts all the players to the test, and Jillian tries to help a contestant still struggling to embrace her self-worth. Travelling and being away from the ranch environment leaves many contestants worried about their weight loss this week. Those fears intensify at the weigh-in, where surprising results push two players below the yellow line and the other contestants must decide which player is going home.

There are seven contestants remaining after the elimination of Jay, who is seen at home on the continuation of his weight loss journey. Those seven go into makeover week. Fashion stylist Tim Gunn and hair stylist Ken Paves lead the makeover team. Tim's goal is not to treat the seven as his dress up dolls, but rather collaborate with each to provide them with a look with which they will feel comfortable. Most give Ken free reign over their hair. While David knows and is excited to see his facial hair go, it which he kept more as a symbol of his journey, Marie is a little less excited to see her hair go as it has been the one thing she felt she could control as her weight increased. All seven get to share the experience with their family and friends, who are flown to Los Angeles. After the makeover, it is back to work as the contestants still know that losing weight in their primary goal. Bob in particular is aware that makeover week has always been a distraction away from that goal. At the weigh-in, the contestants learn that there will be a double elimination, with the two people falling below the red line being automatically eliminated. The remaining five will move into the final week on the ranch, where they will compete in a triathlon, the winner who will automatically go into the finale, along with the two contestants with the highest percentage of weight loss for the week.

The stakes are higher than ever when the five final players compete in a "Biggest Loser" first - a sprint triathlon, requiring them to swim 1/2 a mile, bike 12 miles and run three miles. The triathlon winner will secure a coveted spot as a finalist, as well as a brand new Ford Fusion. Then it's an emotional trip down memory lane as the contestants watch footage of their journeys with their trainers, and see firsthand how far they've come since arriving on the ranch. Later, it's time for the last weigh-in before the finale, where two players will fall below the red line and go home, and two more will become finalists, joining the triathlon winner to compete for $250,000 and the title of "The Biggest Loser" at the season 15 finale.

In this must-see, exciting live finale, the 15 contestants from this season return for a special reunion and a chance to weigh in one last time - and show America how much weight they've all lost since beginning their weight-loss journeys. Those who have been eliminated will compete for the $100,000 "at home" prize. Then it's the moment viewers have been waiting for, when one of the three finalists will be named this season's "Biggest Loser" and win the coveted grand prize of $250,000.
