early attempt of Timo Rose with an ode to Hellraiser
trashgang19 January 2017
13 years old and still no review. That must say a thing about this flick made by Tim Rose know for his ultra violent or gory flicks. This is one of his earlier flicks and it shows. You don't watch it for it's original story because it isn't, you would watch it for the effects but being an early attempt they are laughable sometimes.

It takes a while before this flick shows it's horror. You have to wait almost half way the flick before the effects come in. Some effects are well done others are really dull. But the main problem is that this is just a Hellraiser (1987) rip-off. Just watch the ending. The chains, the skeleton creating it's own flesh, the torturing.

I have seen better flicks coming out of Germany as an early attempt. Some creatures or demons are just body painted and that's all. I can understand that money was an issue but do use other effects instead.

Boring in the beginning with bad acting which resolves into a Hellaiser ode which is worth seeing. But we all know that better was to come from Timo....
