Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp will premiere February 8 on VH1. The cast includes Kevin Federline, his ex Shar Jackson, R&B singer Bobby Brown, former Baywatch star Nicole Eggert, ex-Skid Row member Sebastian Bach, High School Musical’s Kaycee Stroh, Project Runway Season 1 winner Jay McCarroll and Bad Girls Club alum Tanisha Thomas.
Starting Over reality tv show fans will be happy to hear that joining the panel of advisors this season, along with Dr. Ian Smith and Harvey Walden, is life coach, Rhonda Britten.

Eight famous flabbies are inked for the VH1 slim down reality series, "Fit Club." The seventh season of the weight loss show features a ballooned-up Kevin Federline, and his ex and baby mama Shar Jackson. Also confirmed are Nicole Eggert: a former Baywatch star now in need of help; High School Musical.s Kaycee Stroh, only 25, along with Tanisha Thomas from The Bad Girls Club. Bobby Brown, Skid Row.s front man Sebastian Bach and Jay McCarroll, season 5 winner of Project Runway rounds off the list of contestants. The task masters are Harvey Walden and inspiration nutritionist Dr. Ian Smith, and Rhonda Britten, who previously coached on the TV series Starting Over, will join the crew as a life mentor.

Veteran ad sales executive Barbara "Bo" Argentino has been named head of advertising and media sales at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Argentino, who started her new role as senior vp advertising and media sales Monday, will oversee the NBC Universal syndication unit's advertiser sales department, based in New York. Among the first-run syndicated programming distributed by NBC Universal are the upcoming talk-variety strip The Megan Mullally Show, entertainment newsmagazine Access Hollywood, talkers Maury and The Jerry Springer Show and unscripted series Starting Over. Argentino replaces Chris Kager, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. She will report to Barry Wallach, president of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

The real-life daytime drama Starting Over is making a change for its upcoming third season. The show will feature couples -- rather than individuals -- who are facing problems in their relationships, such as infidelity or financial and anger issues. The show is in production on its third season, which premieres Sept. 19 in syndication. Starting Over, which is sold in more than 95% of the U.S. for the 2005-06 season, is produced by Bunim-Murray Prods. and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

Despite stiff competition and pre-emptions resulting from the second week of the NCAA men's basketball tournament coverage on CBS, some syndicated series still saw ratings increases for the week ending March 27. Reality strip Starting Over, which was just renewed for a third season, posted a 33% increase from the previous week with a 1.2 average household rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show also is up 9% compared with last year. Among talkers, The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2.3) was up 5% for the week and is posting the biggest year-to-year increase (28%) in the genre. Meanwhile, The Oprah Winfrey Show (6.6) saw an 8% increase on the week and is up 12% year-to-year. Dr. Phil (5.3) was up 10% week-to-week and also year-to-year.
TV One, a lifestyle and entertainment network targeted at black viewers that launched in January, on Thursday announced a slate of new original primetime shows. The makeover show Makeover Manor will premiere at 8 p.m. EDT on Oct. 19, followed the next day by the 8 p.m. EDT premiere of the cooking show Turn Up the Heat With G Garvin. Interior design show Living With Soul debuts next month. TV One also said it has acquired three series: Twentieth Television's off-net drama Boston Public, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution's off-net sitcom Martin and the first season of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's syndicated strip Starting Over.
