The legend of "Lovers Leap" is a well-known piece of Canadian folklore. After a tragic end to a brand new romance, Jane Riley flung herself from the top of this waterfall in an effort to expire her misery. However, her misery seems endless. Many visitors claim that Riley's spirit roams around Lover's Leap.

Mrs. Ceperley still roams through the house that she loved so much in Burnaby, British Columbia. She cannot free her spirit. It may be that a broken promise keeps Mrs. Ceperley wandering the halls of her one time home. Grace Ceperley loved this house so much that she left an order in her will stating that her husband could only stay on in the house if he agreed that when he would eventually sell it, he would give most of the money to charity. She wanted the profit from the house to benefit no-one but charity. Mister Ceperley had other ideas, and, from the moment he profited personally from the sale of the property, Grace Ceperley's spirit has been seen walking throughout this house.
