- You can enter a cheat code called "acid mode", which makes the screen much more vivid, a different shaded color, and everything sounds as if it is in slow motion. This is an obvbious reference to the drug, but is never endorsed and no actual drug use is seen.
- To replenish the health of the playable character, you must take medical pills found around the environment. The use of the drug is not detailed and they're only used for the survival of the character.

- The general atmosphere of the game is dark and unsettling. There can be a moderately sadistic tone at certain points throughout gameplay.
- The plot is that your character is mentally unstable and the game displays somewhat disturbing flashback images on screen throughout, usually accompanied by a loud eerie noise.
