The fathers have long been enemies, but the young people disregard this fact and persist in falling in love with each other. The lover kills the girl's brother without knowing it in a very remarkable but convincing way, and the same night elopes with the girl. The father is led to believe that the young fellow murdered his son and swears vengeance. Some time later the father finds the couple in their cabin, but the young man sits by a cradle. This stays the elder man's hand, and the young man has an opportunity to explain. He does this so successfully that when his wife is brought in she and her husband find her father singing the baby to sleep. Not all stories of this type end so happily, especially when they look so dark at the beginning. It is an interesting but not important picture. - The Moving Picture World, September 23, 1911
