Storyline
Plot Summary |
In this documentary dedicated to the missing actress, which begins with the film La Banquière by Francis Girod, the documentary by Anne Andreu and Francesco Brunacci attempts to illuminate this trajectory both singular and dramatic. Avoiding the agreed biography, the authors chose unusual angles: the late discovery by Romy Schneider of the meaning of Nazism and the responsibility of his parents, his divorce from the German press which reproached him for having denied his role in Sissi or a reminder of her efforts to become part of French cinema, she who spent most of her career in an adopted language.
