Interesting interviews with all 5 of the past Bonds (Sean Connery via a
video link), and lots of clips from the Bond movies.
Everyone else who ever starred in a Bond movie, appeared to be sitting
watching in the audience.
Presented by Michael Parkinson (obviously a Bond fan), who did a faintly
amusing role-play with John Cleese (who plays the character, Q, in the
same
way as he played Basil Fawlty).
For Bond fans only.
A missed opportunity, 21 January 2003

An ok documentary.I had looked forward to this for about two weeks since first spotting it in the tv guide.I was especially looking forward to Timothy Dalton, however I was to be disappointed. Instead of giving fairly in depth coverage to the individual James Bonds, the producers decided to interview all and sundry, and as a result each "interview" lasted only a few minutes. One feels if they left out all the usual clips and had shown Shirly Bassy the door then we could have been in for a treat. But,as a result,we were left with something that had been done a thousand times before. A missed opportunity!
