Harry Pollard plays the lead to very good effect in this amusing little comedy in which Freckles, a country boy, wins the hand of a city girl who comes to the country and turns village belle, by licking all of his rivals and in the end forcing the preacher to marry him to her. A good idea well presented and likely to win its laugh. - The Moving Picture World, December 6, 1913
