Storyline

The Indie Vampire Epic - Now Fully Remastered & Restored.... Years before TWILIGHT and TRUE BLOOD cast their spell on American audiences, indie filmmaker William Hopkins' micro-budgeted thriller, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, explored the nighttime world of vampires and those who seek to destroy them -- a world in which both hunter and hunted are conflicted, tormented souls. Well Done for a penny budget
31 January 2004 | by (north dakota) – See all my reviews

New faces gave it their all in this cheap horror/scifi film. You won't recognize a single cast member, but sometimes it's better that way. The special affects were below average, again because of the budget, but the story was superb, and my interest never wavered once the film picked up. A lot better than most 'filmed in my mother's basement' trash that seems to litter movie rental shelves. You can do far worse than this film, rent but worth a purchase.
