Lame comedy about stand-up comedian/disc jockey...
dwpollar13 December 2002
1st watched 12/13/2002 - 2 out of 10(Dir-Damon Wood): Lame comedy about stand-up comedian/disc jockey trying to make it big for himself(I think). The star of the show , Ryan Cameron, is an obvious stand-up comedian trying to delve into the world of the movies with pretty much the same formula as other African-American comedians like Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence, by playing multiple roles, with, of course, a heavely made-up geek and an overweight woman as two of the characters. The only problem is Cameron isn't funny. The production is also very cheap with very little talent in any of the supporting roles. No-one is memorable, even the star and yet this has been produced on DVD? Please., I think there are many better movies that deserve this achievement and have yet to be produced.

Like watching paint dry.

I would imagine that most of the cast is pretty talented, but the blame for this unforgivable attrocity can only fall on the writer and director. The biggest mistake is how the director (or editor) is trying to cut for comic effect (ie quick forced cuts) instead of letting the scene play through. Simple comedy 101. The result is poorly written and executed boring mess. My vote for "biggest financial mistake" in the history of movies. You would have more fun trying to nail your eyelids to a car bumper than watching this piece of yak vomit unfold it's dull predictable plot.

Incomprehensible Embarrassment

This wretched bone headed mess really dares you to stay til the end. Infrequently funny, sonambulistic pacing, lots of yapping, and walking around. This is one big eyesore. Just terrible. A mindless, careless, shoddy film with a very tired theme made by people who just don't care. It's abysmal. You'll hate yourself if you do see it, believe me. You would be better off being stuck looking through Grandma's photo albums.
