Maybe the Mummy just isn't really suitable for parodies. In any case, I felt this one came rather short and was more noise than quality comedy. Famous late show host Jimmy Fallon takes Brendan Fraser's part. The very young Kirsten Dunst plays the female character shortly before she was costarring next to Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi's Spider Man franchise and Oded Fehr does what he does best, playing a dark mysterious character like on Charmed. Also on board: Rob Schneider as the main antagonist and Snoop Dogg helping the gang.
This lacked mostly the wit and charm that the Panic Room parody one year later at the same place had. Only thing it's really worth watching for is the visually impressive rising-water scene. So, unless you're a great fan of any of the five involved, better give this one a pass.
