An Outstanding Introduction to the National Park Service Missions of San Antonio
ndvagabond10 November 2009
This is the finest National Park Service film I have ever seen. San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, highlighted in the film, has never been one of my favorite National Parks. However, after being inspired by this movie I wanted to explore the missions and learn more of their history. I was deeply touched by the story of the missions and their people.

The producer/writer/director of this film attended to every detail. The music is wonderful and wholly appropriate to the multicultural story of the area. The visual effects are superb but not overdone. The story is well written and expertly conveys the meanings of this special place. The supplemental narration by well-known recording artist Tish Hinojosa was the perfect touch to make this film soar.

The first time I saw this film, at the visitor center of San Antonio Missions NHP, I was deeply moved. As the lights came up, I saw a tear in the eye of many of the other people in the auditorium. I was not alone.
