Another depiction of the new problems in the new era
zzmale17 February 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Do NOT come to me after the divorce.

This movie made in the 1990's emphasize the urgent need of the legal reform regarding the divorce law, just like the Huge Battle of Divorce (1992), and the difference is that the hidden theme of this movie is concentrated on the settlement after the divorce while the Huge Battle of Divorce (Li Hun Da Zhan) concentrated on the process.

A really good look at the old way in the pre-revolution era

The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Divorce.

This movie provides a really good look at the old ways of living in the pre-revolution era, and the life of an ordinary low ranking governmental employee is selected. There was not much political propaganda, a sign of a slight progress made in freedom of the press in China because the governmental censorship was not giving any pressure this time.
