Canada Vignettes are a group of short films done by the National Film Board of Canada: Some of those shorts were animated and each one of them made a very interesting depiction of different aspects from the culture and history of Canada.

Some of those "Vignettes" were serious, while others were comical and funny. "Lady Frances Simpson" belongs to the funny category, but it contains some interesting historical information anyway, which is portrayed in a very light-hearted way.

The art style from this short was pretty stylish, having a charming simplicity which is enough to make it a worth-watching and enjoyable experience.

I particularly liked the slapstick humor included on this short.
