A good detective story: surprises, dead bodies, etc

My wife and I came into the film on TV late but watched it to

the end. Next time it was on, we made sure we saw it from the

beginning. Still enjoyable, 'tho the Australian accent left a few words undeciphered. The film evolves with the expected British story telling: Some things you, the viewer, must figure out for yourself. Not the Hollywood film where they rub your nose in it to make sure that the lowest common denominator understands. PLUS Pauline. She is gorgeous and my wife agrees. Ending is definitely not Hollywood. Leaves you reeling a bit.

BAD movie

Poor old Robert Taylor. Other than THE FEDS, nothing much has gone his way - this almost-shocker is a wasteful ninety minutes and not much more. It's one of those cheesy detective-crime flicks with the narrative of the lead character the whole way through - usually that's reserved for comedies these days but this film takes itself way too seriously! A pity; Australian films, particularly in the 2000-01 periods, have been of exceptional quality overall - but I suppose there have got to be a few misses. Why even make a film like this, that obviously isn't going to be any good?

For an Aussie movies, this one's the go.

An excellent Australian movie.

Kept me on the edge of my seat. Couple of hot guys for us ladies to drool over. Plenty of intrigue and suspense. You'll have to wait until the end to find the twist re: Ellen. Spot the noted Sydney locations, including with new Airport railway stations or is that the Olympic stadium, check it and see!!

this movie is quite simple awesome, i don't know what that other person is talking about - they are probably either opinionated because it's an australian film, or they watched it on an airplane

all of the characters in the movie played their parts exquisitely well

it is a must see for anyone who can appreciate a real movie that isn't hollywood junk

i have recommended this movie on my journal and all of my "must see" lists

i can only hope that whoever watches it catches it in the right ambiance

Homoeroticism without trying to!!!

My husband and I came into this movie about 3/4 of the way through, thinking it was going to be After the Rain by Akira Kurasawa, but instead found this Australian bomb. We thought it was a gay film of some sort, not finding out the men were actually brothers until the end of the film!! How disturbing!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid!
