Six somewhat disabled fighters overcome their disabilities with comedy

Other references show 1977 as the release of this movie. The movie starts with five martial arts retards attempting to do farm chores and ending up fighting. The sound of music leads them to expect their master will arrive with new orders. First a girl, mistaken for a man of course, is found stealing milk from their goat. The master then informs them they have a young sister now. The first 14 minutes are almost non- stop comedy action.

Their leader takes all six to meet a man. He gives each one a copy of a letter to deliver planning that maybe one of the idiots will succeed. There is a spy and he reports to "The Big Boss" Han Ying-Chieh. The villain comes with the white eyebrows that became standard for villains in 1978 . Our group must overcome roadblocks along the way. They try to pass as a funeral procession. No matter what dumb stunt they try to pull off it seems Han Ying-Chieh's men are even dumber. Then there's a twist when one of the six in heavy disguise goes to Han and claims to be a traitor. The blind hero is the first to die. I did not realize he was blind until they said the blind guy died. The hunchback is next followed by the left hand amputee. Who is the traitor?

Nonsense comedies like these usually start strong then become repetitious. This movie uses different weapons like over-sized dentures and fight locations like on the water in canoes so the variety continues. Plus it gets all serious at the end. It is also just 80 minutes long which is just long enough. I certainly recommend it for fans of this genre.
