HEROINE IN THE DUST is an extremely cheap and obscure kung fu film from 1972, made in Taiwan in a few picturesque locations. It's generally a waste of time even if, like me, you're a fan of this particular genre, offering indifferent fight scenes and generally garbled plotting that fails to really go anywhere. The story involves gangsters holding sway over a town, popping one guy's eyeball in their reign of terror at one point. A young girl turns out to be the only one with the bottle to go up against them, and a series of laboured fights take place. The version I watched was blighted by a typically awful dub track.
