They did indeed keep them forever
robin-lange21 June 2006
"The content of this movie is nothing more than a series of prevarications." This sounds like an off-the-cuff remark by someone who cannot appreciate the real issues. Please refer to the various books written upon the subject, ie: "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" by Monica Jensen Stevenson, "The Men We Left Behind," discussing this issue from a Kissinger perspective, and a host of other sources, and then come to a well-supported conclusion. Time-Life also dwelt on the subject back in 1987, and there was a flood of reports, etc. of Caucasian held in captivity claiming to be POWs during the early 1990s that should have resulted in some form of action or demand. But nothing happened, and the issue, sadly, just died. Sadly for the men, indeed, if any were alive then.

Thanks.

This video has many facts and first person accounts. It is a must see!

This video, for anyone with any patriotism, a must see. I used to believe our government to be better than it is, at least where taking care of our military and veterans. This video is a real eye opener and is not the only of its kind. I wish it could be required in our schools! There are many sources for additional information also. 'Left Behind' is another good one. Anyone not believing the information in these movies just needs to keep doing the research, it is all true. I am so glad and blessed that my two brothers that served in Vietnam came home. Although they too have problems from that time and place. I spoke to a former POW, and he said he and the guys he was held with were told the exact words by the VC we can keep you forever, no one knows you are here. My friend was a Marine fighter pilot and was shot down and subsequently captured. Held six months and released for operation homecoming in 1973.

Treason is a Criminal Offense Mr. Bobby Garwood
firstnevada12315 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Bobby Garwood got a credit on this film. This is the same Bobby Garwood who "crossed over" to the enemy (North Vietnam) after being foolishly captured while serving as a Private in the United States Marine Corp in 1965. While in captivity, the first thing Garwood did was learn to speak Vietnamese for purposes of convincing the enemy he wanted to serve against the United States. Garwood was convicted of aiding and abetting the enemy of the United States and its allies (North Vietnam) when returning to the United States following the Vietnam War. Garwood concocted lies pertaining to remaining POW's in Vietnam when he realized he wanted to return to the United States--lies that were not accepted by the government of the United States. Garwood was dishonorably discharged with forfeiture of 100% of back pay. If you approve of the treasonous acts of Hanoi Jane Fonda, and Ramsey Clark; then certainly you will approve of Bobby Garwood and this movie. Your freedom to live in the United States of America was and is opposed by Bobby Garwood. The content of this movie is nothing more than a series of prevarications.
