Balling The Cat
boblipton8 March 2021
This early Aesops Fable caroon by Paul Terry seems to be incomplete. Given that it turned up on Cartoon Netwok in Japan, and the ending seems to be missing from this hundred-year-old cartoon, that's hardly surprising.

A hungry cat tries to eat parrot, but is foiled by a cop. He then goes after some mice, who conspire with other mice. There's something involving a catnip ball, but the lack of an ending makes the ending, which probably has the cat drunk, unsatisfying.

By later standards, it's a primitive cartoon, even though it is fully animated. The character design is basic, and the background work, though sufficient, is minimal.
