- A man goes in a car and removes one part of the sleeping woman's eye mask. Her eye is open entirely.
- Two women struggle to open something until it opens itself to reveal a dead burned baby. This can make viewers jump.
- A big shadow chases a young girl through the hallway.
- There isn't too much violence in the film but every death that is shown is very gory and shocking.
- The ghost turns into a monster can be very frightening.
- Akiko and Emi are frightened by a ghost.
- A floating ghost of the husband Lady Mamiya is shown with half her face. During the climax, her neck is shown growing some kind of blister and babies are shown struggling to crawl out through see-through skin. She slowly grows bigger. She attacks two women and tries to take her daughter. It ends with Emi giving the dead child to her.

Violence & Gore
- Asuka sits on a wheelchair and gets killed by a huge axe. Her face has a litttle bit of blood as she rolls back and stops. We later see blood landing on the floor underneath the wheelchair.
- A red light comes from a room where Asuka is killed. She is already dead. Her body is entirely melting in blood-like liquid. Only her leg remains.
- Taguchi gets attacked by the shadow and lands on the floor. Steam coming out of his clothing and out of his trousers. He is later shown that he is melted in half. Blood and guts everywhere. A few shots of his melted guts. Asuka grabs a spanner and beats him with it five times offscreen (her shadow is shown) with a closeup shot of his guts as he rolls over to his death. Little blood is scene on the spanner.
- A young man gets his body melted in half and we see his guts melted everywhere.
- An older man melts and crumbles away with his skin oozing, eyeballs pouring out of the eye sockets and his skeleton form crumbles to the ground.
- A girl beats someone with a spanner offscreen and blood is seen on the spanner.
