It's lame, but it's ours
Nozz29 July 2000
The local public liked this one because it's a local movie par excellence, Israeli-style humor on the streets of Israel. But to do a candid-camera movie right, I guess, takes a bigger budget. For lack of unlimited opportunity to film until wonderful things happened spontaneously, Barkan finds himself depending too much on the antics of the performers rather than on the behavior of the unaware man on the street... and for that matter, in Yuda Barkan's films, how candidly the man on the street is really acting is always open to question.
