Sex & Nudity

  • No sex and nudity. Just some very mild romance. This is a children's animated film anyway.

Violence & Gore

  • This animated film has references to a revolution, which caused Anastasia to become the last surviving member of a family.
  • In some scenes throughout, the main villain tends to hit a man's head in a comical matter.
  • Two instruments argue and fight each other in a comical matter.
  • Together with living instruments, Anastasia is chased by secret police. No violence.
  • A man carrying a sword cuts down the curtain Anastasia and friends swing on, causing them to slide over some iced roof and crash into a pile of snow. They all appear to be fine afterward.
  • A girl is mentioned as "presumed dead" by a man.
  • A crow bites a man's finger. We briefly see the bruise on the finger afterward. Comical.
  • A wagon carrying a man gets loose from a horse, and crashes on a house. Comical.
  • A man is beaten down. Not much is seen.
  • Several instruments and people fight each other in a rather cartoonish matter.

  • A villainous character calls several people "nincompoops", which means "foolish people".
  • Vladimir briefly calls Anastasia a "foolish girl".
